OneDosh Integrates Cash App Funding for Transfers to Nigeria

OneDash

OneDosh has introduced a Cash App funding option that allows eligible users in the United States to fund their dollar wallets, convert balances to Nigerian naira and initiate cross-border transfers through supported payment corridors.

The integration connects Cash App, which has a reported user base of approximately 60 million, with OneDosh’s cross-border payment infrastructure. It gives eligible users another way to move money from a US payment application into a service designed for international transfers and currency conversion.

According to OneDosh, the new option forms part of its wider effort to expand the ways people in the United States can send money to Nigeria. The company also supports transfers into Nigeria from the United Kingdom and European Union through other eligible funding methods.

Connecting domestic payment apps to cross-border transfers

Moving money internationally can involve multiple services, particularly when funds held in a domestic payment application must first be transferred to a platform that supports foreign exchange and overseas payouts.

OneDosh’s Cash App integration is designed to simplify that process by allowing eligible users to fund their OneDosh USD wallets directly through the payment option.

Users can then convert their dollar balances to naira and initiate transfers through supported corridors. Access remains subject to eligibility requirements, account verification, transaction limits and applicable fees.

“Cross-border payments should fit more naturally into the way people already manage their money. By connecting Cash App funding to OneDosh, we’re creating another route for eligible users to move funds from dollars to naira and support the people and commitments that matter to them,” said Jackson Ukuevo, co-founder of OneDosh.

The integration does not mean Cash App users can send money internationally directly through Cash App itself. Instead, Cash App serves as a funding option within OneDosh’s service.

OneDosh expands its remittance options

Beyond the new US funding option, OneDosh offers multi-currency wallets, currency conversion, cross-border transfers and payment cards.

The platform serves users moving money across supported markets in the US, UK, EU and Nigeria, with the latest integration adding another route for eligible US customers.

For remittance providers, connecting with payment services that customers already use can reduce the friction involved in funding international transfers. However, the practical benefits depend on factors such as funding availability, exchange rates, transfer fees and how quickly recipients receive their money.

OneDosh said its banking, money transmission and virtual asset services are provided through licensed partners in the relevant jurisdictions.

The company has not disclosed how many users are expected to use the Cash App funding option or the transaction volumes it expects the integration to generate.
