Temu adds Kwikpik to its Nigeria delivery network

Temu has added Nigerian logistics company Kwikpik to its delivery network in Nigeria, giving the e-commerce platform another local courier partner as it expands its operations and fulfilment capacity in the country.

Kwikpik, a Nigerian payment and logistics super app, has been approved as a last-mile courier partner on Temu. Nigerian buyers whose orders are assigned to Kwikpik will be able to track their packages in real time and receive deliveries at homes and businesses across the country.

The addition gives Temu access to another local logistics operator as demand for online shopping grows and reliable delivery becomes increasingly important to Nigeria’s e-commerce market.

How the delivery partnership will work

Under the integration, packages assigned to Kwikpik will be picked up from Temu’s fulfilment centre and delivered to customers across Nigeria. Customers will be able to monitor their orders through Kwikpik’s live tracking dashboard, providing visibility into the delivery process until the package reaches its destination.

For Temu, working with local courier companies allows the platform to build delivery capacity within the Nigerian market while relying on operators familiar with the challenges of delivering to customers across the country.

For Nigerian shoppers, the partnership adds another delivery option to Temu’s local fulfilment network.

Why Temu needs a stronger local delivery network

Temu entered Nigeria in late 2024 and quickly gained attention among Nigerian consumers and small businesses for its direct-from-factory pricing model and wide range of products. The platform covers more than 600 product categories, attracting consumers looking for competitively priced goods and SMEs sourcing products and inventory.

But growing e-commerce demand also puts pressure on the infrastructure required to move orders from online marketplaces to customers. Nigeria’s e-commerce market generated an estimated $8.53 billion in revenue in 2024 and is projected to reach $14.92 billion by 2029, growing at approximately 11.82 percent annually.

That growth is happening alongside longstanding challenges in Nigeria’s logistics sector, including traffic congestion, fragmented addressing systems, and concerns around the reliability of delivery services.

As more consumers shop online, the ability to complete the final stage of an order efficiently is becoming increasingly important to e-commerce platforms.

Kwikpik brings local logistics infrastructure

Kwikpik was built around some of these challenges. The company operates across Nigeria, with physical offices in Lagos, Abuja, and Benin City. Its logistics operations combine route optimisation technology, a vetted rider network, warehousing capabilities, and API based integrations designed to support deliveries for individual customers and businesses.

The company also provides a merchant dashboard that allows businesses to manage dispatch, track deliveries, and monitor fulfilment performance from one interface. Its API integration enables digital platforms to connect Kwikpik’s delivery infrastructure directly to their checkout or order management systems, potentially making it easier for businesses and e-commerce platforms to manage deliveries within existing workflows.

What the partnership means for Nigerian e-commerce

The partnership comes as Nigeria’s e-commerce market moves beyond simply getting more consumers to shop online. For platforms such as Temu, the ability to fulfil orders reliably after a customer has made a purchase is just as important as product range and pricing. Adding local courier partners can give international e-commerce companies greater flexibility in handling deliveries across different parts of the country, while creating more opportunities for Nigerian logistics companies to participate in the digital commerce ecosystem.

For Kwikpik, being added to Temu’s courier network also provides an opportunity to demonstrate its ability to support a major international e-commerce platform while expanding its role beyond individual and business deliveries.

Speaking on the partnership, Paul Ifegwu, Chief Operations Officer of Kwikpik, said: “This partnership with Temu is a strong validation of the operational depth we’ve built and our ability to execute reliably at scale. It’s not just a milestone for us—it signals that Nigeria’s logistics infrastructure is evolving to meet the demands of global e-commerce. We’re proud to be at the forefront of enabling that shift, ensuring faster, more efficient last-mile delivery for a rapidly growing market.”

Kwikpik is also targeting more e-commerce partnerships

Beyond Temu, Kwikpik says it is expanding its corporate and platform partnerships. The company is open to working with e-commerce marketplaces looking for local courier services, manufacturers and wholesalers requiring last-mile distribution, small businesses moving away from informal dispatch arrangements, and international brands entering the Nigerian market.

Through its API integration, businesses can connect Kwikpik’s delivery infrastructure to their digital platforms, while its merchant dashboard provides tools for managing dispatches and tracking fulfilment.

What comes next

Temu’s addition of Kwikpik to its Nigeria delivery network highlights the growing importance of local logistics to the country’s e-commerce expansion. As more international platforms enter the market and Nigerian consumers become increasingly comfortable buying goods online, delivery companies will play a bigger role in determining how efficiently those platforms can serve customers.

For Temu, Kwikpik adds another local courier to its fulfilment network. For Kwikpik, the partnership places its logistics infrastructure within the operations of one of the major global e-commerce platforms now serving Nigerian consumers.
